BP-183-27V is a special organic ammonium modified hectorite clay rheology modifier, with excellent rheology and suspensibility. It is designed for medium to high polarity solvent systems, such as Isopropyl myristate, white oil, vegetable oil, triglycerides, alcohols and ketones systems. Heavy metals and microbial content are lower than national cosmetics safety technical standard (2015).
APPLICATION
Widely used in eye cream, facial cream, colour cosmetics, emulsion, antiperspirants, sunscreens, lipsticks, hair conditioner.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BP-183-27V requires high speed shear force for dispersing in organic system. Recommended procedures are as following:
A. Prepare organic phase, add BP-183-27V with a agitator (under the speed of 1000 rpm), keep stirring for 5 minutes.
B. Add polar activator, adjust agitator’s speed to be above 2000 rpm to make the system well dispersed.
C. Mix the gel with other formulation ingredients. The addition levels of BP-183-27V are typically between 0.25%-0.3% based on the total formulation weight.
D. Dosage of polar activator (propylene carbonate recommended.) is 15%-35% by weight of BP-183-27V.
